Celebrating 75 Years of Pride, Power, & Spirit!

Dear Alums and Friends of the UAHS Marching Band,

From marching in the 4^th of July Parade to performing at Friday night football games, the UAHS Marching Band is an integral part of the spirit and fun of living in Upper Arlington. To honor the band's 75^th anniversary, the UAHS Band and Orchestra Boosters are raising funds for a new marching band pavilion to be constructed at the UAHS Marvin Moorehead Memorial Stadium. Your help is greatly needed!

If you've been to the Upper Arlington high school football stadium recently, you may have noticed that the current band bleachers are very old, in poor shape, and its rough edges often fray the band's relatively new uniforms.

Toward that end, the Boosters plan to build a Marching Band Pavilion in the south end zone of the football stadium. The Pavilion will include new bleacher seating, a colorful shade structure for band and other school-related events, and a brick UA logo among other features. The pavilion will add to the festive atmosphere at football games and will boost the school and community pride in the Marching Band program. It also is expected to improve the acoustics as the band plays the fight songs and other cheers during sporting events. Sketched of the proposed pavilion appear below.

Our goal is to raise $200,000 to cover the estimated costs of the pavilion. As an alum or friend of the UAHS Marching Band, we ask that you consider giving generously to this worthy cause.
