Following a rousing performance of the Alma Mater and Fight Song at July 2nd’s Alumni Day Open House, the UAHS Marching Band made its 2017 debut – including the rising freshmen members – at the July 4th parade in UA! It’s going to be a great Fall season. See the band next at the UA Labor Day Arts Festival.
Praise from Ellen Clark, The Upper Arlington Alumni Association:
“There is something VERY special that happens when we hear the drums begin that familiar intro, and the crowd can tell that the band is about to burst into the Upper Arlington High School Fight Song! I loved watching the crowd as your wonderfully talented musicians filled the halls and lobby area with our familiar and exciting Fight Song, and then … the Alma Mater was lovely!
Hearing the lineup of songs for the parade made the band’s appearance in the parade on July 4 even more special! I know it took a lot of work and effort to line everyone up and to hold practices and then make the performance so fantastic. We greatly appreciate all you did…”
